Kiran Chetry
CNN Co-Anchor Of American Morning
Children: Maya, 5; Christopher, 2
Born in Nepal, and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kiran Chetry began her career working for News 21 in Rockville, Maryland. In 2001 she joined the Fox News Channel as a general reporter, and by 2005 Chetry she was regularly co-hosting Fox & Friends Weekend. Chetry joined CNN in 2007 and began co-anchoring American Morning soon after.

Chetry told us at the end of 2009 that parenting, and putting her children first in her life (which for Chetry means never missing tucking her two kids in at night) has stripped her life of "me" time, a sacrifice she's gladly made. She said, “It’s something I’m ok with. It makes you a better person, it makes you a different person.”
